Structural Concrete Foreman

Position Overview:
The Structural Concrete Foreman leads on-site crews to execute structural concrete, block, and steel stud framing work efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is responsible for supervising tradespeople, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring that all work aligns with project plans, schedules, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate combines hands-on construction expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct on-site crews performing structural concrete, block, and steel stud framing work.

Coordinate daily tasks and workflow to ensure timely completion of pours, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to guide crew activities.

Inspect work in progress, including formwork, rebar placement, concrete pours, finishing, and curing processes.

Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and productivity.

Track material usage, equipment needs, and crew performance, reporting updates to the superintendent or project manager.

Identify and resolve on-site issues or obstacles to maintain project timelines and quality.

Assist in coordinating subcontractors and inspections as needed.

Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation related to crew activities, safety, and materials.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural concrete construction, with proven leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of concrete placement, formwork, reinforcement, finishing, and curing techniques.

Experience with block work and steel stud framing is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
