Position Overview:
The Steel Stud Framing Skilled Tradesman performs hands-on installation of steel stud framing systems, ensuring precision, quality, and safety on all projects. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team on commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install steel stud walls, partitions, ceiling systems, and related framing components according to project drawings and specifications.

• Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding, bracing, and temporary supports.

• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality in all framing activities.

• Collaborate with foremen and crew members to complete tasks according to schedule and project requirements.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant worksite.

• Report issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

• Assist with material handling, cutting, and assembly as required.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in steel stud framing or related structural framing work.

• Strong knowledge of steel stud framing systems and installation techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
