Steel Stud Framing
Foreman

Location: Florida Multiple Locations
Reports To: Superintendent 
Employment Type: Full-Time 

 

Position Overview:
The Steel Stud Framing Foreman leads on-site crews in the installation of steel stud framing systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage daily field operations while maintaining productivity and craftsmanship.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate steel stud framing crews on commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure timely completion of framing activities.

  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.

  • Ensure proper setup and removal of scaffolding, bracing, and temporary supports.

  • Collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to schedule crews and materials.

  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant job site.

  • Mentor and train crew members to uphold standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

  • Identify and resolve on-site issues to maintain project timelines and quality.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation related to crew performance and work completed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a foreman or lead in steel stud framing construction.

  • Strong knowledge of steel stud framing systems, installation techniques, and related tools.

  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage crews effectively.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
