Position Overview:
The Steel Stud Framing Superintendent oversees all on-site steel stud framing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in steel framing, strong leadership, and effective field management to coordinate crews and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily on-site steel stud framing operations across commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

Coordinate foremen, tradesmen, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.

Review project drawings and specifications to plan crew activities and anticipate challenges.

Ensure proper installation of steel stud framing systems, including walls, partitions, and ceiling structures.

Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant job site.

Conduct quality inspections and ensure work aligns with design specifications and company standards.

Track progress, document field activities, and report updates to project management.

Mentor and manage crews, promoting productivity, collaboration, and adherence to best practices.

Identify and resolve on-site issues to maintain project timelines and quality.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in steel stud framing or related structural framing work.

Strong technical knowledge of steel stud framing systems and installation techniques.

Proven leadership skills with ability to manage crews effectively.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and industry best practices.
