Masonry Laborer

Location: Florida Multiple Locations
Reports To: Masonry Foreman / Superintendent
Employment Type: Full-Time 

 

Position Overview:
The Masonry Laborer provides essential support for all masonry operations, assisting skilled tradesmen with block, brick, stone, and other masonry tasks. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards on commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled tradesmen with masonry tasks, including block laying, brickwork, and stone installation.

• Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing, and moving materials and tools.

• Set up and dismantle scaffolding, formwork, and temporary supports.

• Follow instructions from foremen and skilled tradesmen to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Observe and comply with safety regulations and company policies.

• Report hazards, safety concerns, or work issues to supervisors promptly.

• Assist with mixing, transporting, and handling concrete or mortar as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• Previous construction or masonry experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Basic understanding of masonry work and safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

• Willingness to learn and assist with various masonry tasks.
