Masonry Foreman

Location: Florida Multiple Locations
Reports To: Masonry Superintendent / Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

 

Position Overview:
The Masonry Foreman leads on-site masonry crews, overseeing block, brick, stone, and other masonry work to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage daily field operations while maintaining productivity and craftsmanship.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate masonry crews on commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure efficient completion of masonry activities.

  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.

  • Ensure proper setup and removal of scaffolding, formwork, and temporary supports.

  • Collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to schedule crews and materials.

  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant worksite.

  • Mentor and train crew members to uphold standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

  • Identify and resolve on-site issues to maintain project timelines and quality.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation related to crew performance and work completed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a foreman or lead in masonry construction.

  • Strong knowledge of block, brick, stone, and other masonry techniques.

  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage crews effectively.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
