Masonry Project Manager

Location: Florida Multiple Locations
Reports To: Operations Manager / Director of Construction
Employment Type: Full-Time 

 

Position Overview:
The Masonry Project Manager oversees all aspects of masonry construction projects, including block, brick, stone, and other masonry work, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of masonry techniques, excellent leadership, and effective project management skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage masonry projects across commercial, residential, and hospitality builds.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for masonry work.

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and masonry crews to meet project specifications.

  • Supervise on-site masonry operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control.

  • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications for block, brick, and stone work.

  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage masonry crews, promoting productivity, collaboration, and craftsmanship.

  • Identify and resolve issues or delays to maintain project timelines and quality.

  • Ensure proper documentation of all masonry project activities, including daily logs, inspections, and change orders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing masonry construction projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge of block, brick, stone, and other masonry techniques.

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
